The renovation of the old pool lasted for a year and a half. During this time, the building was overhauled and all engineering systems, including ventilation, were updated. The supply of fresh air and the extraction of polluted air with heat recovery will now be provided by the modular air handling unit BlauAIR BL04.
Due to the high humidity in the swimming pool, the ventilation equipment had to meet special requirements. That is why the BlauAIR BL04 air handling unit is available in a special swimming pool design. All internal surfaces, fans, components, fasteners and vibration supports are protected against corrosion with a pore-free double powder coating of at least 120 microns.
The air handling unit will provide air flow rates of up to 3000 m3/hour. The advantages of such fans include high efficiency, reliability and ease of maintenance due to the lack of a drive belt. The fans are equipped with energy-saving EC motors, which feature high performance over the entire speed range and have high efficiency. The air handling unit also includes a plate heat exchanger made of profiled aluminum plates, a water heater, and a pocket fine F5 class filter. The equipment is controlled by an automation system.
